Review of RBL Bank Fun plus card
This is our first card from the RBL bank. RBL bank also known as Ratnakar bank, is the latest private bank listed on the stock market. The bank has been on a growth path. First, the look of the RBL fun+ card.
The card looks pretty cool and shows the energy of the youth. Well, this card is very well suited for people who eat a lot at KFC’s or pizza huts.
Lets look at the feature of the RBL fun plus card.
You get Rs. 1,000 worth bookmyshow voucher for free as joining bonus or you can ask for pizza hut and kfc free voucher worth Rs. 500 each.
If you spend more than Rs. 5000 per month, you would get Rs. 500 worth bookmyshow code for free or Rs. 300 worth KFC or pizza hut voucher for free.
If you spend more than Rs. 4,00,000 per year, you would get Rs. 1,500 worth KFC and pizza hut gift voucher for free.
You get 10 reward points for spends at bookmyshow, pizza hut and KFC else you get 1 reward point on all other spends. The conversion ratio for each point is 25 paise or 4 reward points would be equal to Rs. 1.
You also get 10% off on transactions done at bookmyshow for 15 times.
The cards comes with an annual fee of Rs. 499. The following year annual charges would be waived off
Our take and analysis on the RBL Fun plus card:
If you see, the RBL card is already free for first two years, reason being, the free bookmyshow voucher, KFC voucher, Pizza hut voucher as joining gift.
What we liked the best is free Rs. 500 worth bookmyshow voucher every month on spending Rs. 5000 per month. If you are KFC or Pizza Hut lover, you can get Rs. 300 worth any of the gift voucher for free.
Also, the annual fees get waived off, if you shop above Rs. 150,000 per year.
Let us see how the conversion would work. You get 10 points for every Rs. 100 shopping done at Pizza Hut, KFC or Bookmyshow. Now, since one point is as good as Rs. 0.25, the conversion works out to be 2.5% in value back. So, not a great amount but something is always better than nothing.
Overall, if you are hard core KFC and Pizza Hut lover, then we would recommend you to go for the card. The card would also be suitable for all the movie people. By spending just Rs. 5,000 per month, you get free bookmyshow voucher worth Rs. 500.
